CIGICON2009 brought in the latest in the world of cochlear implantations and hearing solutions through format of lectures, symposia, group discussions, paper and poster presentations. Special focus was on advances like brain stem implantation, bilateral implantation, emerging trends and research.

With Prof. Joachim Müller from Wurzburg and Prof Georg Sprinzl from Innsbruck even two European partners from the HEARRING were present at the CIGICON2009 and contributed major scientific and clinical inputs to the conference.
